Austin Bloomberg

Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Austin Bloomberg joined Nourishing Hope in January of 2021 and serves as Warehouse Operations Supervisor. Austin has a master’s degree in social justice and community development from Loyola University, yet found his way to Chicago by way of AmeriCorps, where he managed a food pantry in the Garfield Park neighborhood.

A product of West Michigan, Austin spent a decade in Wisconsin attending college and beginning his career before calling Chicago home. Outside of work he is a baseball fanatic, cat dad, chess addict, camping and canoeing enthusiast, and lover of plants. He resides with his wife in Logan Square.
