Kate Swiatek, LCSW

Clinical Therapist

Kate joined Nourishing Hope as a Clinical Therapist in May 2021. Prior to joining the team, Kate worked in healthcare and residential settings, providing care management and counseling to individuals experiencing homelessness, persistent mental illness, chronic health conditions, substance abuse, and domestic violence. Kate has a person-centered, harm reduction approach to therapy that acknowledges that every person is expert on their own life and prioritizes trauma informed care.

Kate graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a Master’s Degree in Social Work, specializing in Health as well as a Bachelor’s in Psychology from North Central College. In Kate’s free time, she loves to cook, ride her bike around Chicago, listen to podcasts, and hang out with her very affectionate cat, Gomez.
