Marina Silva, LCSW

Bilingual Clinical Therapist

Marina holds a master’s degree in social work with a concentration in mental health from Loyola University Chicago and a bachelor’s degree in psychology and French from Coe College. Prior to joining Nourishing Hope in June 2021, Marina provided individual therapy for adults as a masters level counseling intern at the Chicago Women’s Health Center. Her clinical interests include exploring life changes, working with queer, trans and gender non-conforming individuals and prioritizing mental health for communities of color.

Marina is a Chicago native, having grown up in Edgewater. She loves to eat out at local restaurants, cook new food, thrift shop, and take her pug Harrison on short walks.

Marina obtuvo su maestría en trabajo social con concentración en salud mental de la Universidad Loyola Chicago y una bachillerato en psicología y francés de Coe College. Antes de unirse a Nourishing Hope en junio de 2021, Marina proporcionó terapia individual como consejera de práctica en el Chicago Women’s Health Center. Sus intereses clínicos incluyen la exploración de los cambios de vida, y el trabajo con comunidades queer, trans y de género no conforme.
