Mental Wellness Services

Your Mental Health Matters

Nourishing Hope believes that fostering a healthy mind is just as vital to your well-being as maintaining your physical health. That’s why we make mental wellness a priority for our neighbors.

Are you struggling with depression or anxiety? Having a hard time adjusting to a recent change in your life? Need someone to talk to about your gender identity or a past trauma? Nourishing Hope provides mental wellness services that are tailored to your needs.

Our team of licensed clinicians, social workers and supervised graduate students offers individual, couples and group therapy sessions. Our mental wellness program provides mental health counseling with a focus on trauma-informed care. If our program is not a good fit for your needs, we will connect you to other mental health services and resources.

To request counseling services, please call a member of our Mental Wellness team at 773-525-1777 ext. 244 or email [email protected]. We will make every effort to get you scheduled for an appointment as soon as possible. If we have a waitlist at the time you reach out, we will always provide an estimate for your first appointment. The only residency requirement for our mental health program is that you live in Chicago, Illinois.

As a free, confidential resource, your goals and hopes determine our course of action. Please know that you are not alone. We are here to assist and support you.

How Do I Qualify For Mental Wellness Services?

Our trained and licensed mental health clinicians are here for anyone who reaches out to us. As part of our intake process for counseling services, we will ask questions to ensure that you are a good fit for our program. Our goal is to connect you to our services. However, if we find that connecting you to our program would not be in your best interest, we will work on connecting you to alternative mental health services.

We can also offer comprehensive support to help get you the services you need, including:

  • Connection to other community mental health resources
  • Collaborating as needed with other providers–with client consent

Please reach out to our Mental Wellness team at [email protected] or call 773-525-1777 ext. 244 to request more information or to be added to our waitlist.
