Nourishing Hope is excited to start a new process group called Queer in the Time of COVID for individuals who are a part of the LGBTQIA+ community to discuss their experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic and highlight things that still feel unheard or unseen. This group will prioritize Black, Indigenous, and other clients of color in its admittance.

  • Sessions will be held virtually beginning in late September and run for 12 weeks.
  • Each session will be 60 minutes and the group will have around 10 members. Topics will include: What is community? What does loss of time look like? What are your ongoing COVID concerns?
  • Other themes will include dating, isolation, and other feelings that have been reshaped by the COVID-19 pandemic.

If you are interested in participating, or have any questions, please email mentalhealth@lakeviewpantry.org with the subject line “Process Group Interest.”
