Robert Rizzo

Director

Robert Rizzo is a leader who has extensive experience in the corporate and nonprofit sector. Currently, Robert serves as the Senior Director of Community Investment at Conagra Brands and Conagra Brands Foundation where he has direct responsibility for the community investment activities and initiatives. He leads community investment initiatives for Conagra Brands throughout North America, with a primary focus on the communities of Chicago and Omaha.

Prior to his current position, Robert worked for Sara Lee Corporation and Sara Lee Foundation as the Senior Manager of Community Investment and the Grants Program. As the Manager of the Grants Program, he was responsible for managing the competitive grant program that distributes over $1.5 million to nonprofit organizations as well as managing the $600,000 matching grants program.  As the Manager of Community Investment, he had responsibility for the nonprofit board training and placement program, product donations, and recognition ceremonies honoring the company and key executives.

Robert previously served as a board member for Center on Halsted and as a committee member for the Donor’s Forum. He holds a bachelor’s of science degree from Northern Illinois University.
