Betsy Ross
Development Associate
Betsy Ross works with Nourishing Hope as a development associate. Betsy joined Nourishing Hope as a volunteer in 2021 after a rewarding career as a Spanish teacher and a few years off to raise her son, Leo. She previously worked for Purple Asparagus providing nutrition education in CPS schools, and has always been passionate about food access.
She grew up in the northern suburbs, went to school in Colorado, and has lived in Ecuador, Mexico, and Spain. Betsy’s Chicago roots run deep and she loves calling Andersonville home. She’s always up for a yoga class or a hike.
