Katie Adams
Manager of Food Operations & Logistics
Katie joined Nourishing Hope as Assistant Pantry Coordinator in August of 2018 and was promoted to Manager of Food Operations in March of 2019. Katie was a volunteer at the Pantry for several years prior to joining the staff. Previously, she worked as a Construction Crew Leader for Habitat for Humanity Chicago, leading volunteers in building houses in the West Pullman neighborhood. Prior to that, she was a stage manager for professional theatre here in Chicago. Katie is glad to have a position that allows her to be on her feet much of the day, interacting with volunteers and clients.
A Seattle native, Katie came to the midwest to attend college at Northwestern University and has been a Chicagoan ever since. Outside of work she enjoys playing on the Nourishing Hope softball team, biking, hiking, backpacking, board games, and cats.
