Maura Daly
Vice President
I believe that food is a basic human right. As Chief External Affairs Officer for Erikson Institute, I work to raise awareness, funds, and promote public policies that benefit young children and families in Illinois and across the nation. I became passionate about ending hunger while working at Feeding America for more than a decade.
I got involved with Nourishing Hope through my role as Chief External Affairs Officer at Feeding America, and I have seen the hope that the Pantry brings to thousands of our neighbors every day. I know that adequate, stable access to food can help transform people’s lives. I’m honored to serve as the Vice President of the Board for Nourishing Hope.
Outside of work and volunteering, I love to cook and spend time with my family. I’m a graduate of the University of Dayton, and I reside in Chicago with my husband and two children.
Nourishing Hope Exists Because of the Support of Our Neighbors.
Providing the equivalent of 4.5 million meals each year, plus thousands of mental wellness and social services that empower healthy lives, Nourishing Hope strives to create a city where all people have the resources needed for a dignified life. Join us today!
