Rachal Brooks, LPC

Rachal Brooks is a mental health therapist who joined Nourishing Hope in October 2023. Before Nourishing Hope, Rachal worked as an outreach worker for folks experiencing housing instability while earning a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Roosevelt University. Rachal utilizes Person-Centered/Humanistic approaches with the belief that empathy and a non-judgmental presence allows clients to grow closer towards self-awareness.
Rachal is passionate about accessibility to mental health care for BIPOC and marginalized communities. She enjoys making space for people to share their stories and to authentically be who they are. This explains why most of her free time is spent surrounded by loved ones, writing, and being in nature.
