On April 16, 2020, Mayor Lori E. Lightfoot joined Chicago Cubs owners Tom and Laura Ricketts for a visit to a new Nourishing Hope satellite site at Wrigley Field. The temporary site will support the Pantry in keeping up with the increased number of residents seeking food assistance as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
